Wooden Watches: This Winter’s Must-Have Accessory

Happy New Year 2019! Does anyone else think 2018 flew by in a hot blur, or is it just me? With the new year already upon us, I wanted to take some time to write a little bit about this winter’s must have accessory – a wooden watch (spoiler alert: there is a giveaway at the end of this post!)

Trends come and go, but what’s great about a wooden watch is that it will never go out of style. It’s TIMELESS.  JORD makes unique, all-natural, and most elegant timepieces fit for any fashionista.  I fell in love with the Frankie Purpleheart and Plum watch.

This watch features a sapphire crystal, which is one of the hardest and most scratch resistant materials on earth. JORD incorporates this same high quality glass in many of their premium timepieces. What’s great about this company is that they hand-craft these watches using wood species NOT listed in the CITES Appendices or on the IUCN Red List of threatened species and don’t use any toxic chemicals to treat the wood. The wood used to make Frankie Purlpleheart and Plum comes from the Solomon Islands and it is naturally purple in color.  I love how light it feels on my arm! You can check out JORD’s entire women’s collection HERE.

Not only do they make beautiful wooden watches for women, they have a huge selection of wooden watches for men! You can see the men’s collection HERE.
