TruEarth
I love doing laundry, said nobody ever! Let’s face it: it’s the never-ending story (sigh). But I must admit, ever since I’ve started using TruEarth eco strips, I feel like I’m doing laundry PLUS something good for the environment. Did you know that the EPA estimated that less than 9% of plastic in the USA was recycled last year? That makes me sad, because all the plastics I clean and sort in the recycle bin don’t even end up being recycled! (Double sigh). Best way to fix that is to avoid using plastics as much as possible.
TruEarth laundry strips are amazing! They work like magic. Each laundry strip packs ultra-concentrated, hypoallergenic, eco-friendly cleaning power. Just one strip for one load, no mess with liquid or powder, no measuring. Also, much easier to handle than a heavy jug of laundry detergent. And their zero waste laundry detergent strips are packaged in a plastic-free compostable cardboard envelope! Reducing the number of detergent jugs being dumped into landfills.
The best part is that they actually work! Stains are gone, zero residue on our clothes as the strips completely dissolve in cold or hot water washes. I love that they are paraben-free, phosphate-free, free of added dyes, free of chlorine bleach, hypoallergenic, vegan and free of 1,4-dioxane and readily biodegradable. There are three different TruEarth eco strips to chose from: ‘Baby,’ which has been specially formulated for baby’s clothes. It smells lovely and is gentle on delicate skin. ‘Fresh Linen,’ which is my favorite because it leaves your laundry smelling fresh for days! And last but not least, ‘Fragrance Free,’ which I use to wash all the pets blankets and bedding.
If you’ve been following me on Instagram for a while then you know that I love supporting companies that are clean, good for the environment, give back and provide products I love and believe in. That is why it is worth mentioning that for every online subscription, TruEarth donates 32 loads of laundry to front-line workers, food banks, and those in need. It’s a win-win for everyone! Head on to https://www.tru.earth/ to check out their full range of eco friendly products!
