Top of the Rock, NYC
If you’re planning a trip to NYC, I would highly recommend visiting ‘Top of the Rock.’ There are three observation decks (67th, 69th and 70th floor). You enter the attraction on the 50th Street and go though a security screening. If you purchased your tickets online you can go directly through the mezzanine and learn interesting facts about the Rockefeller Center on your way to the elevator. If you didn’t get your tickets in advance, no worries you can stop by the box office and get them there. The ticket price is $34 for adults and $28 for kids 7+; kids 6 and under are free! VIP tickets are available for $75 per person. If you plan your visit in the morning 8-9am no need to spend the extra money. The line is short and it moves very quickly.
The 70th floor has no glass or metal enclosures, making it perfect for photos (no glare if you’re using flash photography). When you get to the top you can easily move back and forth between all three observation decks and the views are incredible! Highly recommend!!! Worth every penny!
