Spring 2018 fashion trends

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! We had a quiet Easter at home partially due to the fact that I woke up with a terrible neck spasm at 4am on Saturday.  Man, I used to get Charley horses during my pregnancies, but having a muscle spasm in your neck is a whole nother story! I have so much more empathy for people with disabilities and chronic pain.  It’s been three days and I still can’t turn my head completely to the right.  I go back to work on Wednesday…and that should be interesting…well, enough of that.  Today I wanted to share ‘Spring 2018 fashion trends,’ that I have been working on for a while.  I  haven’t been able to post till now because no matter how hard I try, I always seem to run out of time.  I think 36 hr days would be awesome! Who’s with me?

Ok, on to Spring 2018 fashion trend #1: ESPADRILLES! They are back this season and they are better than ever! I have had my eyes on a few of these pairs for a while now (#1 is so popular that it keeps selling out).

 1. Even though it’s the most expensive shoe on this list ($240), this beautiful See by Chloe espadrille has a beautiful embroidered trim! It’s also available with a 4.75″ wedge HERE.

2. I love the bow detail on this Sam Edelman espadrille platform slip-on, $59.99.

3. This wedge sandal, $79.95, comes in four different colors: brown, black, grey, and white. I need at least three!?

4. I absolutely love this blush suede espadrille slip-on, $49.99, it has the prettiest scalloped trim.

5. This gorgeous Mark Fisher platform espadrille, $149.99, comes in 10 different colors! Yes, you read this right.  I think this bright yellow would look great with white shorts.

6. This flat espadrille, $59.99, looks like an espadrille version of the highly popular Valentino Rockstud sandal.

7.  Lace-up sandal, $128.95, comes in three different colors and has a wide, perforated toe strap.

8. The Franco Sarto wedge sandal, $59.99, also comes in black/white gingham.

9. This Steve Madden wedge sandal, $54.98, has been out for a while now but it’s still available from a few retailers.

10.  And finally, the laser cut espadrille, $39.99, is available from different retailers and it can be priced as much as $59.99. I have linked the least expensive one I found.

Ok, on to trend #2: ROUND BAGS and BELT BAGS. Let’s be honest here, I haven’t really embraced the belt bag or “fanny pack” trend yet, BUT it’s probably a matter of time until it starts growing on me.  I have linked three of them here for those of you who already did.

1. I love this Cult Gaia round bag, $218. It’s perfect for Spring and Summer.  It’s the round version of the Arc bag,$148 that was so popular last summer.
2. Brown round cross-body bag, $26. If you’re on the fence with round bags, this one is a good one to try to see if you like the trend.  I don’t think you can go wrong with $26!
3.  This beige belt bag is by Kate Spade, $198.
4. I love this round straw bag, $92. It’s perfect for the beach, pool, or even shopping paired with a pretty summer dress or a pair of distressed denim shorts.
5. I bought this round straw bag, $85, a few weeks ago and I can’t wait for the weather to get warmer so that I can actually use it.  Here is a picture of it from my Instagram (@aniasbliss).                                                                                                                              
6. If I were to get a fanny pack right now, it would have to be a luxury one like this Gucci one.  LV has a very cute option too.
7.  Ok, the last bag on this list is a mixture of both! It’s a round belt bag by Rebecca Minkoff, $118.

Ok, on to Spring 2018 fashion trend #3: BEADED STATEMENT EARRINGS. I love statement earrings because they can make any outfit pop!

1. Green/Ruby beaded tassel earrings, $21.
2. Drop earrings with tassel, #12.99.  Currently in my shopping cart.
3. Cece earrings, $44.
4. Red circle drop earrings, $67.99. Different retailers carry different colors.
5. Pineapple studs, $12. I’m all about pineapples and flamingos this season! haha
6. Flower tassel earrings, $50. They would go perfectly with an all white outfit + the yellow espadrilles (#5) from the previous list.
7. Lavender fringe drop earrings, $36. Lavender is another spring trend this year.
8. Double beaded teardrop earrings, $16.
9. I’ve seen these round Gypsy Hoop earrings, $80, from multiple retailers in so many different colors.
10. Ashton earrings, $49.
